How Should We Fill The Hole?

If you have been down to the riverfront area of downtown lately, you have noticed a blight on the area. The museum and the two new ballparks make for an impressive sight along with the coliseum, the reds museum and the backdrop of the cincinnati skyline but, there is something else [img]eek.gif[/img]
It's a big ole hole. Right next to GAB, there is what looks like an old abandoned vacant lot that with a little rain turns into a big mud puddle. It looks really really bad, and takes away from the whole riverfront soooooooooooo....
Since the banks project is still, uh, um "a ways off" I think we should collectively come up with some ideas for filling that hole or at least using it for something so it can become a useful part of the new riverfront downtown.

I'll start with a few suggestions.

1) The Worlds largest mud wrestling pit. Just think of the battle royal matches you could have and it wouldnt take much to convert it.

2) A nude beach. It would pretty much guarantee a whole lot more, um, uh "interest" in that area. (might cause a few accidents though)

3) We could fill it with those plastic balls and make it the worlds big playball bin. You know like the ones they have at those kids places and play places.

4) On that note, we could get a giant air mattress and make it a giant bouncing/jumping thing. You know kinda like those ones you see at outdoor festivals

5) we could make it a giant bumper car or go cart track.

6) We could just plany some grass and trees and make it a park

7) How about if we move the fountain down there [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]

8) make it the holding are for fans who get too drunk or into trouble at reds games and bengals games.

9) basketball or street hockey courts perhaps

10) we could enclose it in glass and make it a biosphere type thing.

Feel free to add any suggestions you might have for this area, I'm sure all input will be uh, um, well, appreciated [img]graemlins/sure.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/wonder.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/hmmm.gif[/img]

EUREKA! I have found the perfect solution! [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/idea.gif[/img]

This city is known for , well Pigs.
The flying pig marathon, "porkopolis" those pigs we had around the city a few years back...
And, we made a bid to have the olympics here a couple years ago too.
Well, now we can join thos two things and fill that hole with something everyone will enjoy [img]smile.gif[/img]

We could even add some events.

This could be big, I mean really REALLY BIG!
